San Jose, CA-7/26/08 thru 10/24/08

Ok, I just decided to start this blog so I'm writing about San Jose after it's already happened. San Jose was nice. It started out a little rocky but ran smoothly for the rest of the assignment. I got there the night before my assignment started after having my purse stolen in Barstow. Mom made the drive over to CA for our 3rd cross country trip together. I did all of the driving, as usual. I had to live in a hotel for the first week while Reflectx found me an apartment. I started the assignment on such short notice that they didn't have time to lease and furnish a place before my arrival. They did put me up in an extended stay hotel with a mini kitchen, which was nice, but smelled like curry. Danielle drove out 2 weeks after I did. We took a few weekend trips to Sonoma, Monterey, and San Francisco. I got to show her all of the places I loved in San Francisco and I got to see Meg & Donkey several times. We went hiking and bike riding and enjoyed the sunshine and cool weather.
